A quick warning: if you ask me about birds, I may talk about them far longer than you want. Bird photographers have a reputation for that.
Iām a Boise-based photographer with a passion for capturing wildlife, landscapes, and meaningful moments in the community. My work focuses on the natural beauty of Idaho and the American West, along with occasional nonprofit and charitable events.
Bird photography has become a particular focus of my work. Photographing wildlife requires patience, attention to light, and an appreciation for the quiet moments that often go unnoticed in nature. Many of my images are captured in the early morning hours along the Boise River, local wildlife refuges, and throughout the western United States.
Outside of photography, I work as an executive leader in the corporate world. Photography provides a creative balance to that work and allows me to spend time exploring the outdoors with my family and camera.
I occasionally take on photography projects in the Boise area, particularly nonprofit events and community initiatives.
